At the request of Inalproces from Ecuador, Mercadero reviewed the labels of two new products to be launched at Biofach 2016: NATIFS Organic Chocolate Goldenberry and KIWA Organic Chocolate with Cassava Chips. When bringing a new product to the European market the labels must be thoroughly checked to be sure that they meet the legal requirements. Mercadero reviewed the labels of both new chocolates on all legal requirements for food labels in the EU according to Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011.
