There was no movement in the Challapata market prices last weekend, because on Sunday 29 March the regional elections took place in Bolivia. Prices are still the same as they were on 22 March. White quinoa is sold at 700 Bolivianos per quintal (US$2.26 per kg), red quinoa 1300 Bolivianos per quintal, equivalent to US$4.20 per kg, and the price for black quinoa is still 900 Bolivianos per quintal (US$2.91).
