On 11 January the price for white quinoa was again slightly lower than in the previous week, and closed at 950 Bolivianos per quintal (US$3.07 per kg). This price is even below the lowest price in 2014 (US$ 3,17), which was reached on 28 December. The price of red quinoa was 1200 Bolivianos per quintal, equivalent to US$3.88 per kg. Black quinoa was traded for the same price as last week; 900 Bolivianos per quintal (US$2.91).
